As the NHL resumed play after the NHL All Star Weekend, the Pens resumed their much improved play as well. Aside from the stinker in New Jersey, the Pens have looked light years ahead of the same team that was limping into the New Year. The Pens were 9-3 in the month of January, and that was largely in part to the big guns doing their thing. Malkin, Crosby and Kessel were on a torrid pace in January and have continued that pace through the first few games of February. Things are finally starting to come together for the Pens, which is scary for the rest of the Division and League.
