The injury woes continue for the Penguins.
With Evgeni Malkin, Teddy Blueger, and Jason Zucker already out of the lineup with an injury and Brandon Tanev missing time on a day-to-day basis, more bad news trickled in on Thursday evening, this time regarding Kasperi Kapanen.
Ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Sabres, Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan gave an update on Kapanen, saying that the forward would be out of the lineup on a week-to-week basis.
Coach Sullivan says that Kasperi Kapanen is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

As is standard operating procedure with the Penguins, a specific injury wasn’t given other than it being a lower-body injury.
