The Penguins don’t have a full report back on Justin Schultz, who suffered a lower-body injury during Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the New York Rangers, but coach Mike Sullivan said it’s “not probable” Schultz plays Thursday against the New York Islanders.

Schultz did not practice with the team for a noon workout Wednesday at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry. Chad Ruhwedel took Schultz’s spot next to Ian Cole.

“He was being evaluated this morning,” Sullivan said around 1:40 p.m., speaking of Schultz. “We haven’t got the results yet. His status is the same as I gave you [Tuesday] night,” Sullivan said.
