Matt Murray clearly has grown tired of fielding the same old questions, but here’s one I bet he wouldn’t mind answering again:
“Hey Matt, how does it feel to win another Cup?”
Obviously, Murray will be a key figure — in some ways the key figure — when the Penguins begin chasing history next week. And you know what? Despite his rocky regular season, I’m not sure I’d rather have anyone else between the pipes for the biggest games.
I’m like Mike Sullivan. I don’t worry about Murray.
“I think this is his favorite time of year,” said Penguins goaltending coach Mike Buckley after practice Wednesday, the final full practice of the regular season.
