Twenty-four hours after his first NHL shutout, Tristan Jarry will be back between the pipes for the Penguins against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday at PPG Paints Arena.
Jarry stopped all 34 shots he faced in a 4-0 win. The 22-year-old rookie is now 3-0-2 with a 2.21 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.
“We really liked his game last night,” Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said before the game. “He hasn’t played a lot of games. We think he’s got plenty of energy. We’re hoping he can build on the effort that he had last night.
