The Penguins announced Thursday night they’ve signed defenseman Jamie Oleksiak to a three-year contract extension with an average-annual value of $2,137,500.
The deal runs through the 2020-21 season.
Oleksiak, 25, was a restricted free agent, and the contract means he won’t go to arbitration.
In 47 regular-season games with the Penguins after arriving via trade with Dallas, Oleksiak had four goals and 14 points.
