A comment made by Giants running back Saquon Barkley on Sunday about the running back market caught the interest of Najee Harris.
Barkley has skipped the Giants' mandatory sessions as the organization and he attempt to negotiate terms of a new contract, as Barkley is in the final year of his rookie deal and is set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season. The sides have until July 17 to come to terms on a new agreement, or he will play the 2023 season under a franchise tag of $10.1 million .
