Guentzel selected for All-Star Game

Jake Guentzel will represent the Penguins at the 2020 All-Star Game, the NHL announced Monday afternoon. Guentzel is the only Penguins player to be selected for the All-Star Game.

This will be Guentzel's first time appearing in the All-Star Game. He currently leads the Penguins in scoring with 19 goals and 21 assists in 38 games.

Guentzel is the 37th player in Penguins franchise history to be named to an All-Star team.

The NHL will still hold its "Last Man In" voting, with one additional player being named to each division's roster. Each team has a designated player who will be entered in the Last Man In voting.
