This is an odd little intersection we’ve wandered into right here in the dead of Penguins winter.
We can say pretty definitely that we’ve reached the sunny side of What-The-Heck-Is-Wrong-With-Sidney-Crosby Street, but this new road looks just as potentially puzzling, a long, slushy, foggy traffic circle around the NHL All-Star weekend.
Such as it is.
If I were Mike Sullivan and my hockey club had the current pulse rate and battle temperature of these Penguins, I would want to go straight to Washington to play that postponed affair against the Capitals, then hop aboard an Amtrak metroliner for a run through the eastern corridor of the Metropolitan Division.
