GAMEDAY 30: Pens head to Boston to face the Bruins and the absolute worst fans in hockey

Pittsburgh Penguins (15-11-3) at Boston Bruins (16-9-4)

8:00 PM EST – NBCSN

TD Garden – Boston, Massachusetts

The first game of the Mike Sullivan era didn’t go as well as we’d hoped, but there were some positives.

Outside of trading Rob Scuderi mid-game to Chicago, which was incredible in and of itself, there were plenty of scoring chances and end-to-end rushes, a fight, and the Penguins even managed to generate more shots (45) than they had in any other game this season. Buried towards the bottom of the even strength shot attempt category for most of the season, the Pens were actually a plus-27 against the Caps –who are one of the better Corsi teams in the league.
