Flyers' plan in Game 4: Limit dumb penalties

VOORHEES, N.J. — The personnel didn’t change.

Neither did the tactics.

But the results certainly did.

After sputtering through the first two games of the opening-round playoff series against Philadelphia, converting just one of eight opportunities, the Penguins’ power play scored on three of seven chances to provide the impetus for a 5-1 victory in Game 3 Sunday.

“We played them pretty well in Game 2, so we knew what they were going to do,” Flyers defenseman Brandon Manning said Tuesday. “We expected them to shoot a few more pucks and obviously, two of them are one-timers that went in.
