EDMONTON, Alberta — It’s probably safe to say this concussion has been like the other two Matt Hunwick has experienced in his career.
When Hunwick returned to practice for Wednesday’s morning skate at Rogers Place, in advance of a game against the Oilers, it marked the first time Hunwick was around his teammates in a practice setting since Monday, Oct. 16.
“I feel good,” Hunwick said. “It feels nice to be back with the group. In terms of how close, still day-to-day at this point. I’m not cleared for contact. It’s just practice until I’m told otherwise.
