NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Faith Hill sang a beautiful rendition of the national anthem Sunday night before Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins at Bridestone Arena.
In fact, I thought it was, along with Carrie Underwood's, the best of the country-artist versions we heard during the run, where we saw the likes of Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood.
(Disclaimer: I am not a country music guy. At all.)
Despite Hill’s passionate performance, some in Nashville are ready for her to skip the singing at the biggest Nashville games.
