Evgeni Malkin scores 1,100th career point in Penguins’ win over Bruins

Evgeni Malkin has reached another career milestone.

In last night’s 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins, Malkin scored a goal and registered an assist, giving him is 1,099th and 1,100th career points.

Malkin has been on a heater lately, with assists in the past 8 straight games.

It took Malkin 935 games to reach the career milestone, becoming the 2nd fastest active NHL player to meet that mark, behind only Sidney Crosby.

Malkin’s 1,100th point also moved him up on the NHL’s all-time scoring list, putting him as the 63rd all-time highest scorer in league history.
