It would be easy to understand if Derick Brassard doesn’t remember much about his first 24 hours with the Penguins.
Since he arrived in Pittsburgh late Monday night, Brassard has been drinking from a fire hose. He had his first morning skate Tuesday, a full day of video work and then his first game Tuesday night, less than 24 hours after his flight from Toronto touched down.
“I had those butterflies in the first, was kind of nervous a little bit, which is part of the excitement of being here,” he said. “After a couple of shifts, I was in the game.
