SAN JOSE, Calif. — Defenseman David Warsofsky will make his Penguins debut tonight against the Sharks at SAP Center, a building the club has not won in since 1997.
Warsofsky replaces Adam Clendening in the lineup. He will be paired with defenseman Ian Cole who will move to the right side, said coach Mike Johnston.
“We’ve had him in practice long enough now that he knows how we want to play in each area of the game,” said Johnston. “I expect he’s pretty excited to get in the lineup tonight.”
Warsofsky played 10 NHL games for the Boston Bruins over the course of the last two seasons.
