Karl: Say the Penguins get sold. What are some changes that often occur when new ownership takes over a team? Do the fans notice anything different?
Dave Molinari: When a team gets a new owner, the changes can vary from barely visible to epic. New owners generally like to install their own people at the top of the corporate food chain, but often leave the rest of the operation reasonably intact. In the case of the Penguins, we don't know who the prospective buyers are, so it's impossible to predict what might happen when Mario Lemieux and Ron Burkle no longer are the majority owners.
