Penguins fans have already started gathering at Point State Park to get the best seat for Wednesday morning’s victory rally.
The Penguins’ Stanley Cup victory parade in Downtown Pittsburgh begins at 11 a.m. on Grant Street at Liberty Avenue, ending about 60 to 90 minutes later at Point State Park.
Beginning late Tuesday night, fans started trickling in, staking their claim to the best viewing spots at the park.
The parade route will close to regular traffic at 9 a.m., but street-parking restrictions are already in effect.
The route will begin on Grant Street at Liberty Avenue and then:
u25aa Travel along Grant Street to the Boulevard of the Allies
u25aa Turn right onto the Boulevard of the Allies
u25aa Turn right onto Commonwealth Place
u25aa End at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Commonwealth Place, at the entrance of Point State Park.
