Crosby to make preseason debut Saturday against Blue Jackets

Sidney Crosby will make his preseason debut when the Penguins face Columbus in their exhibition finale at 3:08 p.m. Saturday at PPG Paints Arena.

Crosby missed the early portion of training camp while leading Canada to the World Cup championship and did not participate in a practice until Tuesday.

The lineup released by the Penguins for the Blue Jackets game includes 21 players, one above the limit that can be used in a game, because seven defensemen are scheduled to participate in warmups.

One then will be scratched before the game.

These are the players on the game roster announced by the team:

Goalies — Marc-Andre Fleury, Tristan Jarry.
