Sidney Crosby has been named the NHL's Third Star of the Week for the week ending on Oct. 13, the NHL announced on Monday.
Crosby registered three goals and four assists in four games last week, bringing his season point totals to three goals and seven assists in six games. He's recorded at least one point in each of the Penguins' six games this season.
Crosby's first goal of the week was the lone goal in a 4-1 loss to the Jets on Oct. 8:
