Cavs Tristan Thompson carries on Penguins Sidney Crosby's Tim Hortons trophy tradition

Sidney Crosby is a trend-setter.

Or Tristan Thompson is just a follower.

Or both are just really Canadian.

The Conn Smythe Trophy winner brought the Stanley Cup to his beloved Tim Hortons — that's a Canadian fast-food chain known for its coffee and doughnuts that Canadians venerate, if you didn't know — back in mid-July.
