Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin is poised to return to the lineup tonight against St. Louis, coach Mike Sullivan said after the team’s morning skate Tuesday.
Dumoulin has been practicing with the team for the past week, but Sullivan confirmed he will be available tonight against the Blues.
“I feel good,” Dumoulin said. “It was good the last couple of days to get some contact. That was my first time in a while.”
Dumoulin was injured Dec. 27 when he took a slap shot to the mouth from Devils’ defenseman Andy Greene in the Penguins’ 5-2 win in New Jersey.
