CHICAGO – For much of two periods, Marc-Andre Fleury was outstanding, on a day where many expected him to be traded.
Turns out the Chicago Blackhawks had just a little too much star power for a rejuvenated Fleury, or a bunch of other goaltenders, to handle.
Patrick Kane scored three goals, giving him seven in his past three games, to lead the Blackhawks to a 4-1 win over the Penguins on Wednesday at United Center.
It dropped the Penguins' record to 38-16-8, but they remained in a tie for second place in the Metropolitan Division with Columbus.
