It might rain on the Penguins’ parade.
Pittsburgh mayor Bill Peduto’s advice? Bring a poncho.
In a tweet Monday afternoon, Peduto explained the decision to schedule the parade for 11 a.m. Wednesday — while forecasts call for a 61 percent chance of rain — was made with public safety and the Penguins’ schedule in mind.
People. People. People. C'mon. Scheduling is based on TEAMs availability. Players leaving Thursday. Public Safety top concern. Bring poncho.
