TORONTO — Injuries to Bryan Rust and Dominik Simon have provided Carter Rowney an opportunity to get back into the Penguins lineup.
He’s hoping to make the most of it.
After a dreadful performance March 1 in Boston, when Rowney was on the ice for five goals-against in just 8:06, he’ll man right wing on the fourth line when the Penguins play the Maple Leafs on Saturday at Air Canada Centre.
“I just want to go out there and play my game, try to play with some confidence and try to help the team any way I can,” Rowney said.
