WASHINGTON — Alex Ovechkin has seven goals in three games so far this season, almost literally shooting holes in the theory that, at 32 and coming off one of his worst offensive seasons, his best days are behind him.
The Penguins have certainly taken notice of Ovechkin’s resurgence. How could they not, honestly?
