After huge first half last time out, Dukes get buried early in road loss

Duquesne couldn't miss in its last game and scored a whopping 60 points in the first half at Saint Joseph's, but it was a much different story in the first half Wednesday night.

The Dukes struggled shooting, missed 12 of their first 13 shots and fell behind 20-3. They scored just 23 points in the first half and trailed by 15 at the break in what turned out to be a 65-56 road loss at St. Bonaventure.

The brutal first half was a crusher for Duquesne (13-6, 3-3 Atlantic 10), and showed just how different college basketball can be from one game to the next.
