The Penguins’ Adidas jerseys for 2017-18 were unveiled Tuesday, and they look almost exactly like the Reebok sweaters the team sported en route to a Stanley Cup championship this past season.

It appears Adidas, which is taking over NHL uniform production from Reebok this coming season, has dialed back the amount of trim around the collar on both jerseys but otherwise left the basic designs alone.
Some, including Deadspin, have speculated that tweaks to other teams’ jerseys leaked earlier Tuesday were made in an effort to free up space for ads to adorn NHL uniforms at some point.
