The Penguins’ four big stars — Marc Andre-Fleury, Kris Letang, Evgeni Malkin and captain Sidney Crosby — all played well this past regular season.
Fleury, 30, had one of his best campaigns, racking up 10 shutouts and a .920 save percentage, the second-best mark of his career.
Letang, 27, challenged for a Norris Trophy, awarded to the NHL’s top defenseman, before going down with a season-ending concussion in late March.
Malkin, 28, was productive if limited by injury at times in finishing with 70 points, and Crosby, 27, just missed out on winning a scoring title.
