Former Penguin Pascal Dupuis’ new life involves a ton of hockey.
Only not the kind you might think.
Smart, tremendously well-liked and articulate during his time in Pittsburgh — the perfect combination for some role with the Penguins or another NHL franchise — Dupuis has largely disappeared from the public eye since his December 2015 retirement because of blood clots.
After a brief stint as a part-time scout for the Penguins, Dupuis has moved back to Quebec — technically Blaineville, about 20 minutes from his hometown of Laval.
Dupuis is doing some TV work on the side, and still works out plenty, but the bulk of his time is spent coaching, shuttling his four kids back and forth to various functions and trying new recipes on the grill to indulge another one of his hobbies — cooking.
