Pitt midfielder Veljko Petkovic put an exclamation point on his team’s 3-0 win over Washington in the Elite Eight of the 2021 NCAA tournament on Monday, as he caught Huskies goalkeeper Sam Fowler off his line and scored from 64 yards out. The goal came with just over a minute left in regulation, and it did not go unnoticed by the media, as ESPN featured it on the SportsCenter Top 10 on Tuesday.
