Pitt’s baseball season is officially over but a few players have earned some postseason accolades.
Specifically, three players from the program made it onto the All-ACC Team. Selections included starting pitcher Derek West, Nico Popa, and Connor Perry. West and Popa made the All-ACC’s Second Team while Perry is found on the Third Team.
West was the team’s top starter this year with a 3.82 ERA (13th in the ACC) and recording a team-best 82 strikeouts. Popa and Perry were the team’s biggest offensive stars. Popa’s 353 batting average was eighth in the league and Perry’s 15 home runs were fifth best in the conference.
