Yesterday, we wrote about Jamal Davis II transferring as well as Chad Voytik contemplating transfer.
Today, sophomore safety Pat Amara Jr announced he would be transferring.
Some of you may remember when ESPN did a pretty fantastic article on Amara about his journey of getting to Pitt. He was homeless, and took a bus to a Pitt camp to earn a scholarship offer which he obviously did.
Amara played in every game except for two this season, totaling 14 tackles on the year along with one pass defended. He mostly played backup to true freshman Jordan Whitehead after having a fairly productive freshman season last year.
