There’s been some exciting news surrounding the Pittsburgh Panthers men’s basketball team over the last few days. Yesterday, Pitt landed shooting guard Ithiel Horton, a transfer from Delaware, and point guard K.J. Marshall, a former high school teammate of Au’Diese Toney, as a walk-on.
A few days ago, Panthers commit Karim Coulibaly helped lead Mali’s U19 national team to the FIBA U19 World Cup championship game; they lost to the United States 93-79.
While I don’t think Pitt hoops has left the mind of some fans, it certainly became top of mind for me as I was sitting in traffic yesterday trying to navigate flooded roads.
