There’s plenty of reasons to be excited for the upcoming Pittsburgh Panthers Men’s Basketball season. At the core of a lot of those reasons is hope. It’s not hard for most fans to buy into the notion of hope, especially before any official game has been played.
Recently, Pitt was picked to finish last in the ACC by the media, and perhaps that grounded a few fans. There’s a chance they’ll end the season somewhere other than the very bottom. Still, I don’t think the team is being unfairly pegged as the worst team in the conference. Despite some nice additions, a large portion of the team from last year, a team that didn’t win an ACC game, returns minus point guard Marcus Carr and sharpshooter Parker Stewart - two big losses.
