The Pitt women’s soccer team faced Syracuse at SU Soccer Stadium on Monday, and during the road trip, the Panthers were able to put an end to a three-game skid by putting on their best offensive performance in over a month and dealing the Orange a 4-2 loss.
Pitt fell behind early, as Orange forward Hannah Pilley scored on a left- footed shot following a corner kick in the ninth minute. However, Panthers forward Sarah Schupansky answered in the 21st minute, as she evaded two defenders and tucked a shot just inside the left post to even the score at 1-1.
