The Pitt women’s basketball team didn’t look poised to have a promising season. The Panthers lost arguably their best player in Brenna Wise, who transferred to Indiana. Then, they promptly went out and lost an exhibition game to IUP. But since then, the Panthers have rebounded well.
The team now sits at 4-1 on the year and is fresh off of a 66-46 win against Cincinnati on the road. Pitt’s lone defeat came against Duquesne.
The Panthers aren’t only winning but doing so pretty easily. The team’s average margin of victory is a shade under 15 points right now.
