Pitt heads into today's game against Wisconsin in the team's first NCAA Tournament game of the year. As of Thursday morning, the Panthers were a slight two-point underdog as the No. 10 seed.
I explained this yesterday, but I believe that Pitt's season is already a successful one based on them getting back into the NCAAs and based on where they were projected to finish in the ACC this year. As the conference's preseason No. 10 team, it's easy to determine that many didn't think Pitt would even make the tournament this season. Again, not the ultimate goal, but overall, it was a nice bounce back year from last season.
