The Pitt men’s basketball team looks to end a disappointing slide Wednesday night. Unfortunately, that won’t be an easy task as they face off against No. 16 Virginia Tech (13-3) at home.
The Panthers’ (8-5) losing streak isn’t necessarily an excessive one. But it has been notable because of the opponents. After a thrilling win over Duke, Pitt has managed to lose to Wake Forest and Notre Dame, two of the weaker teams in the conference. Those games sandwiched the third loss, which came at the hands of a more respectable North Carolina team.
Regardless of opponent, Pitt is going to have to find a way to end the losing.
