Pitt and Penn State will face off for the final time in the foreseeable future on Sept. 14, and on Thursday, additional details about the highly anticipated matchup were revealed. The game will kick off from Beaver Stadium at noon ET, and it will be broadcast nationally on ABC, according to a press release from Pitt.
Despite the popularity of the matchup, which has been played in front of immense crowds of 69,983 at Heinz Field in 2016, 109,898 at Beaver Stadium in 2017 and 68,400 at Heinz Field in 2018, the Pitt-Penn State series was not extended past 2019 and is unlikely to be played again anytime soon.
