For the second consecutive week, the Panthers have a huge game staring themselves in the face. No, Oklahoma State isn’t ranked. But the Cowboys were ranked before a surprising loss last week and, on the road, Pitt will have their work cut out for them.

The Panthers did well on the road last season, going 5-1 with the only loss coming to what turned out to be a very good Iowa team. But this is another year another very challenging team for the Panthers that will an unfamiliar foe.

A win gives Pitt even more momentum going into next week’s tough road matchup against North Carolina to go along with a 3-0 start to the season.
