After an ugly loss against West Virginia, Pitt hopes to rebound tonight with a game against Monmouth.
The Panthers (2-2) will be at home again and are expected to win this one, obviously. The Hawks are 1-3 and were most recently blown out of the water by Kansas, 112-57. They also lost by 20 to Hofstra and by 19 to Kansas State, with their lone win a narrow 66-62 victory over Lehigh.
Given the Panthers’ offensive struggles this season, I’m not sure we can expect a blowout against anyone, frankly. But if Pitt manages to lose this one, it would be pretty ugly.
