Pitt had a disappointing loss to Iowa on Saturday night but one bright spot was the play of quarterback Nathan Peterman after throwing two early interceptions. Those picks can't be erased and they made his overall night a little less strong, but there's no doubt that he played well after that.
After the interceptions, Peterson went on to throw two touchdown passes and lead Pitt on a 13-play 75-yard drive to tie the game. With Chad Voytik playing only a couple of early series, the clear choice at quarterback would seem to be Peterman, who got the start in the game.
