It shouldn’t be a big surprise that the Pittsburgh Panthers were able to come away with two wins in as many games this afternoon. If you’ve been following them on Twitter, the team has been putting in a lot of work, and it certainly paid off in the two exhibition games.
Pitt won their first game over Slippery Rock, 9-1. The Twitter account didn’t post the starting lineup for the second game, but my guess would be that the Panthers put their best foot forward to start.
The game was scoreless after one inning, but senior first baseman Kaitlyn Kruger went yard in the bottom of the second and ignited the Pitt offense.
