Pitt's spring practices are underway and, as usual, at the beginning, there are always position changes announced.
Perhaps the most notable is Shakir Soto moving from defensive end to the interior of the line at defensive tackle. As the Post-Gazette's Sam Werner points out, the Panthers have some quality depth there now especially with the addition of transfer Dewayne Hendrix, who is eligible to play this season after sitting out last year.
Another relatively important move on the defensive line was Connor Dintino moving from there to the other side of the ball on the offensive line.
