Former Pitt shortstop Charles Leblanc had a special season for the Panthers and earlier this month, was named as an NCBWA All-American. This week, Leblanc received another important honor as Perfect Game named him to their All-American Third Team as well.
"It is incredible the amount of well-deserved recognition that Charles is racking up this off-season," said head coach Joe Jordano. "He really worked hard this past year and it paid huge dividends both at Pitt and professionally. We are very proud of him."
Leblanc's .409 batting average not only led the Panthers, but also topped the entire ACC as well.
