Pitt shortstop Charles Leblanc had quite the day on Friday. In addition to being selected in the fourth round of the MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers, he also was named an NCBWA All-District Player of the Year.
Leblanc batted .409 this season to lead not only the team, but the entire ACC. He was named to the All-ACC First Team (the first Panther to earn that honor) and led the Panthers in numerous categories, including hits, RBI, runs, on-base percentage, and assists. His numbers didn't only stand out in the conference, but several stacked up incredibly well in all of college baseball.
