Pittsburgh Panthers safety Brandon Hill announced in a tweet today that he will be declaring for the NFL draft, as well as opting out of the Sun Bowl against UCLA.
Hill was an impact player during his time in the royal and gold, making appearances in four separate seasons for the Panthers. He made four appearances in 2019 while redshirting, then saw snaps in 10 games coming off the bench in 2020 before becoming a full-time starter during the 2021 season.
He earned his fair share of accolades, including an All-ACC honorable mention this season, as well as a second-team nomination in 2021.
