Pitt running back Darrin Hall had hoped to be selected in this weekend’s NFL Draft. But when the picks came and went, his name wasn’t called. As a result, he found himself to be a free agent and was quickly scooped up by the Cleveland Browns, per several reports. The Browns reportedly showed interest in Hall prior to the draft.
That may disappoint some local Steelers fans and Pittsburgh was one of the teams also showing interest in him, per that link above. But joining the Browns is likely a dream come true of sorts for Hall, who is originally from Ohio.
