Pitt’s had pretty good transfer luck this past off season. That came to an end today as news came out that redshirt freshman running back Mychale Salhuddin had entered the transfer portal.
Salahuddin was a very highly regarded recruit as a composite 4* and rated the #5 back in the 2018 class by 247. He played well in the very limited action he saw last year, but had offseason knee surgery. The impression has been that while he’s been participating in practice, he’s been a bit rusty and seemed to still be recovering from his surgery.
However, it seems he’s not happy.
